1. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL

If you are a UK consumer buying online, you usually have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

After telling us you wish to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.

2. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To return an eligible item:

  1. Email info@aurous-scents.com within the applicable returns period and provide your full name, order number, and the email address used to place the order.

  2. Wait for confirmation and any return instructions we may provide.

  3. Package the item securely in its original packaging with all seals, tags, boxes, and accessories included.

  4. Return the parcel using our trusted tracked courier service as instructed. A £4 return fee will apply to all customer returns and will be deducted from your refund unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

3. RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In their original packaging

  • In resaleable condition

  • Returned with any seals, tags, boxes, and accessories intact

For hygiene and safety reasons, fragrance products that have been opened, used, sprayed, damaged, or tampered with may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

We may be unable to accept returns for:

  • Opened fragrance products

  • Used items

  • Items with broken seals

  • Personalised or custom-made products

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to misuse

  • Items returned outside the returns period

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty.

5. FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at: info@aurous-scents.com

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of the item, packaging, and delivery box

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will offer a suitable resolution, which may include a replacement, refund, or store credit. No return fee will apply for approved faulty, damaged, or incorrect items.

6. RETURN SHIPPING

All customers returning items using our trusted tracked courier service will be charged a £4 return fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.

No return fee will be charged where an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

Returns must be sent using the trusted tracked courier service specified in our return instructions.

7. REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within approximately 5–10 business days of approval.

Please note that this timeframe relates to our refund processing. After the refund has been processed by us, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds to your account, which is outside our control.

Any applicable £4 return fee for use of our trusted tracked courier service will be deducted from your refund unless the return relates to a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item.
